The Catholic Diocese of Salina is seeking faith-filled, mission-driven leaders to serve as Principals in three of our Catholic school communities. These positions offer a meaningful opportunity to lead vibrant, Christ-centered schools committed to academic excellence and the formation of the whole child.

Open Positions Abilene – St. Andrew’s Elementary (PreK–5)
St. Andrew’s is dedicated to preparing students to become educated, responsible, and productive Christian citizens. Rooted in faith, the school fosters the development of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—in a safe, nurturing, and academically focused environment.
Junction City – St. Francis Xavier Catholic School (PreK–12)
Guided by its mission, “Educating for eternity through faith and reason,” St. Francis Xavier provides a fully accredited PreK–12 Catholic education focused on academic excellence, virtuous character formation, and a vibrant sacramental life.
Manhattan – Manhattan Catholic Schools (PreK–8)
Manhattan Catholic Schools partners closely with families and parish communities to provide rigorous academics, strong Catholic identity, and a supportive learning environment centered on forming disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Role

Each Principal serves as the instructional and spiritual leader of the school, responsible for:

• Strengthening Catholic identity and fostering a Christ-centered culture
• Supporting faculty growth and instructional excellence
• Building strong relationships with students, families, and parish leadership
• Overseeing daily operations, budgeting, and diocesan policy implementation
• Promoting a safe, nurturing, and academically rigorous learning environment

These roles call for collaborative, relational leaders who understand the mission of Catholic education and are committed to forming students spiritually, academically, and socially.
