The Department of Integrated Studies seeks an individual passionate about teaching robotics courses to undergraduate students. K-State Salina's pedagogical approach is centered around hands-on, applied learning connecting the classroom to real-world industry scenarios. This position is On-site.
This position is expected to engage in campus community and be present on-site. The selected candidate should expect to teach in-person classes.
What You'll Need to SucceedMinimum Qualifications:
- Master's in robotics, autonomous systems, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, or related disciplines upon start of position or before August 2026.
The degree requirement is necessary for accreditation purposes and to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years teaching experience in undergraduate courses or 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Commitment to excellence in instruction and to innovative teaching approaches
