Positions are available to work with elementary, middle or high school students in all 14 Salina school buildings.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and health screenings.
Varies based on assignment. Some positions require the ability to engage in physically demanding tasks like lifting, crouching, and walking.
Other Requirements:Must enjoy working with special needs students! Strong communication and interpersonal skills. In addition to a high school diploma or equivalent, must obtain a passing score on the state para educator assessment, or have completed a minimum of 48 college credit hours. Pre‑employment criminal background check and TB screening required.
Pay Rate:$14.11 per hour.
Schedule:School year position - all student attendance days. Full or part‑time schedules available.
Benefits:Full‑time employees are eligible for BCBS health insurance. KPERS retirement.
