Responsibilities
- Collaborate with faculty and staff on instructional design
- Support subject matter experts in content development
- Assist in the creation of course material/media
- Work with o and School of Medicine colleagues on multimedia
- Promote instructional design services within WashU Medicine
- Develop and manage project plans and communicate milestones
- Provide consultation and training on educational technologies
- Support the design of instructional materials for faculty
- Attend and present at professional conferences
- Associate degree
- 1 year of experience in Development of Educational/Training Materials
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and pedagogical modalities
- Experience with current educational technologies
- Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas)
- Experience with multimedia and graphic design software and web design tools
- Experience developing project plans and managing multiple projects
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive and lead in a collaborative environment
