POSITION: Para educator - Speech/language therapy - full or part-time position
POSITION LOCATION: CKCIE Area Schools
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide assistance for students,to licensed speech therapist(s) in implementing programs related tospeech & language therapy needs. This may include, but is not limited to:obersations and data collection, implementation of therapy techniques and interventions and the execution of teacher/therapist directives with students. Employee would work days students are attending school (approx. 170 days/yr.)
REQUIREMENTS: Must enjoy working with special needs students! Strong communication and interpersonal skills. In addition to a high school diploma or equavalent, must obtain apassing score on the state para educator assessment, or have aminimum of 48 college hours, or have a post-secondary degree. Employment subject to drug screening, physical exam, criminal background check and TB screening.
PAY: Starting base pay $14.73/hr.
