This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career mechanical engineer or technically inclined professional who wants hands-on exposure to plant operations, reliability engineering, and maintenance systems. The role blends data analysis (~60–70%) with real-world maintenance support (~20%), offering strong long-term growth into reliability engineering or maintenance leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the gatekeeper for the Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS)
  • Maintain MMIS procedures and support work order completion and tracking
  • Manage the MMIS portion of the Management of Change (MOC) process
  • Build and maintain equipment BOMs, create equipment IDs, and standardize plant assets
  • Facilitate P& and establish preventive maintenance programs
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams on capital and process improvement projects
  • Perform SAP data analysis to identify maintenance efficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain inspection reports and process safety documentation (PSM critical docs)
  • Assist in incident investigations and troubleshooting activities
  • Develop KPI reports for maintenance performance tracking
  • Support maintenance inventory reviews and equipment standardization efforts
  • Act as backup support for site MRO coordination
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (Chemical or Industrial Engineering with mechanical exposure also considered)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with interest in maintenance and equipment systems
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and take initiative

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Plusses
  • Experience with SAP or other Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS/MMIS)
  • Exposure to maintenance, reliability, or plant operations environments
  • Basic knowledge of macro development or data automation
  • Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or engineering environments
