Trust Officer

CSB&T is a locally owned bank in central Kansas with a proud history starting in 1900. The trust department, now operating as Citizens Trust & Investments, began serving customers in 1974. We currently have banks in Ellsworth, Lincoln, Delphos, Glasco, and Minneapolis. We value rural areas and are proud to be able to offer exceptional service to our customers with a hometown touch.

Responsible for managing trust accounts and providing high-quality service to trust clients. Develop relationships with current and potential trust clients. Develop and implement investment strategies. Monitor investment performance and guide clients based on their financial goals and risk tolerance. Conduct regular reviews of trust accounts and communicate with clients about account performance and any necessary action. Work closely with client’s legal counsel, tax preparers and other professionals as needed.

Represent the bank in the community by participating in community boards and organizations.

• Provide strategies for wealth transfer
• Assist clients with personal financial planning
• Follow all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Complete other duties as assigned

• Highest standard of integrity and confidentiality
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Professional designation(s) (CFP®, CTFA, etc.) or a willingness to obtain
• Proficient in verbal and written communication skills
• Efficient with computers and quick learner of software programs
• Detail oriented and able to focus on completion of tasks assigned
• Uses sound judgement
• Self-motivated individual with a desire to serve others
