Business Analyst

Description

IT Business Analyst to serve as the "front door" for Development Services, coordinating requests, tracking tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions. Trustworthiness, professional communication, and ability to collaborate across teams will be key factors in selection.

• Act as primary point of contact for incoming requests; gather and validate business requirements.
• Translate requirements into Agile tasks, user stories, and sprint-ready items.
• Track progress and verify task completion against agreed upon criteria.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate timelines to end users.
• Facilitate end-user engagement and address minor issues promptly.
• Coordinate dependencies and collaborate with cross functional IT teams.
• Support Agile processes, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
• Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Project Coordinator, or related role; healthcare/health IT experience preferred.
• Experience with Agile/backlog management preferred; certifications not required but preferred.

This role should be onsite and is contract-only at this point, representing a new function. The primary responsibility will be managing and shaping the team's incoming work: all requests will flow through for requirements gathering, user story development, Agile sprint breakdown, creation of Trello cards, and assignment to developers. The analyst will also track progress, stay on top of active sprints, and escape blocked work as needed.

Strong Agile experience is ideal.
