Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician I
Nex-Tech is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician I to monitor and support network systems that deliver critical services to our customers. This role provides first-level troubleshooting and ensures network performance and uptime.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations environment.
What You'll Do:• Monitor network systems for alarms, outages, and performance issues
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Open, update, and escalate trouble tickets as needed
• Communicate with internal teams, customers, and vendors during incidents
• Support network maintenance activities and scheduled events
• Document issues, actions, and resolutions accurately
• Assist with reporting and daily network status updates
• Respond to inbound requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
What You Bring:• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow processes and respond to alerts quickly
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Education & Experience:Required:
High school diploma or equivalent with some experience in network monitoring or technical support (or equivalent training).
