Advance Auto Parts - - - Responsibilities:
Supervises the daily work schedules of warehouse employees involved in shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking and palletizing finished products.;
Determines space requirements for storage and schedules delivery and distribution of products, parts, and accessories to meet distribution objectives and customer requirements.;
Ensures maintenance of equipment and company vehicles in compliance with laws and enforces safety rules, including handling and recording of hazardous materials.;
Monitors employee attendance, productivity, and performance; provides counseling as required.;
Coordinates work with warehouse and operations manager, telephone sales and other supervisors regarding shipments and cut-off times; maintains records and reports; recommends procedural improvements.
