Summit Truck Bodies is looking for a Paint Robotic Programmer to monitor robots throughout the paint process and ensure quality and function.

* ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Resolve repetitive quality defects through investigation and corrective action.
* Conduct software updates and calibrations.
* Ability to start machine, engage feed, transfer or spray applications, and observe operation.
* Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications.
* Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
* Program robot pathways and application controls.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on robots.
* Provide immediate corrective action to robot faults.
* Engages equipment and observes spray applications.
* Demonstrates responsibility for safety, quality and production.
* Maintain all required records.
* Follow all safety procedures.
* Other duties as assigned.
** WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
*** Frequent mobility and / or sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged / extended periods.
* Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
* Requires stretching to reach items up to 50 pounds.
* Requires working in areas which are not ventilated or air-conditioned.
* Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery.
* Requires exposure to chemicals and solvents.
* Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
* Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
* Requires working in a fast-paced environment
* Requires a normal range of hearing and vision
* Must understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations
* Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner
** REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE &

SKILLS:

*** High School diploma or equivalent.
* Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.
* 1 year of experience in robotic painting or related role preferred.
* Certified for all robotic painting operations, methods, and processes preferred.
* Excellent creativity, problem solving, and analytical skills.
* Ability to utilize a computer with basic software skills.
* Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
