Overview
The Advance Practice Provider (APP) (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Collaborates with a team of physicians, nurses, and professionals in primary care.
- Evaluates, diagnoses, monitors, and manages patients using advanced assessment skills and clinical therapeutics.
- Works under the supervision of a physician.
- Post Graduate Degree and valid licensure as an Advanced Practice Clinician or Physician Assistant
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- No prior experience necessary
- Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Excel and medical record charting
- Ability to manage stress, make decisions under pressure, and handle multiple priorities
- Capable of working independently and in confined or crowded areas
Physical Requirements
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
- Prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and light exertion up to 50 lbs.
- Good manual dexterity, vision, hearing, and coordination required
