Medical-Surgical Nurse

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical setting, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective patient treatment and recovery.

• Assess patients' health status and document findings accurately.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, care procedures, and post-discharge instructions.
• Comply with state licensing, certification requirements, and healthcare regulations.

• Hold a current Kansas registered nurse license.
• Possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Diploma Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Preferably have hospital experience within the past 5 years.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
