Job Description
We are hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time, permanent Pre-Op / Ambulatory Surgery opportunity in Salina, KS. This is a great opportunity for an RN with hospital, pre-op, ambulatory surgery, surgical services, PACU, or other acute-care nursing experience looking for a stable day-shift position.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
- Shift: Days 8-hour
- Pay: $31.62+/hr
, based on education and experience - Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000
- On-Call: Required
- Weekend Requirements: Discussed during interview
On-Call Requirements - The current call schedule varies by department:
- Surgery: 2 weeknights, 1 Friday and 2 24-hour weekend shifts every 4 weeks
- PACU: 1 weeknight, 1 Friday night and 2 weekend shifts per month
- Ambulatory: 1 Friday night and 2 weekend shifts per month
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited nursing school required
- BSN preferred
- Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
- Active RN license/registration required
- Pre-Op, Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, Surgical Services, Perioperative or acute-care experience is highly relevant
- Strong assessment, communication and patient-care skills
- Must be comfortable with required on-call responsibilities
