Join our dynamic Orthopedic & Spine unit, a 36-bed facility with all private rooms, where you'll work in a fast-paced medical/surgical acuity setting specializing in orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and trauma care. Our unit has recently expanded to accommodate a growing volume of patients, offering an excellent opportunity to enhance your nursing skills in a high-demand environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions.
- Perform wound care and dressing changes.
- Utilize advanced communication tools to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any changes in condition.
- Participate in patient education and support rehabilitation efforts.
- Must possess a Kansas nursing license.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Previous acute care hospital experience, preferably in med-surg or telemetry units.
- NIH certification preferred.
