Registered Nurse - Medical Telemetry Location

Overland Park, Kansas

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7A - 7P, with a schedule requiring at least every 3rd weekend and 3 shifts per week.

The Medical Telemetry Unit is focused on providing high-quality, safe patient care for a diverse population including renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med-surg patients. Our team works collaboratively to ensure exemplary documentation and adherence to safety protocols.

• Manage patient care on a 25-bed Medical Telemetry unit.
• Commune with patients daily to enhance their experiences, focusing on nurse explanations and respect.
• Participate in nurse leader rounds to review patient care quality and safety.
• Documentation compliance related to central lines, Foley Catheters,
  
  C. difficile, and other healthcare-associated infections.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Basic Dysrhythmia recognition skills are necessary.
• Strong team-oriented attitude is essential.
