Pet Sitter Specialist

Job Title:

Professional Pet Sitter & Adventure Specialist (Flexible/Part-Time).

Location:

Salina, KS & Surrounding Area.

Schedule:

Variety of shifts available (6 AM - 11 PM window); heavy focus on Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays.

Are you an "Animal Polyglot"? At Adventures in Pet Sitting, we don’t just "watch dogs." We are professional caretakers for a diverse family of species, including dogs, cats, aquatics, birds, exotics, and farm animals. We are looking for people who are as comfortable checking the PH balance in a reef tank as they are walking a 90lb Golden Retriever or feeding a flock of chickens.

• Passionate Caretaker: You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty. You love the "grit" of animal care and treat every pet like your own.
• Disciplined Professional: You follow instructions to the letter, check the Pet Sitter Plus notes before asking questions, are proactive, time-sensitive, and detail-oriented.

• Technical Care: Species-specific care including cleaning enclosures, monitoring heat lamps, and preparing specialized diets for birds/reptiles.
• The Adventure Walk: Lead safe, engaging walks in all Kansas weather conditions (heat, rain, or snow).
• Home Security: Manage client lockboxes, secure entryways, and maintain property integrity.
• Professional Reporting: Use our mobile app to log GPS data, photos, and detailed wellness reports for owners.

• Reliable Transportation: dependable vehicle that can handle city and rural routes in all weather.
• Resourceful Mindset: use the tools provided (apps, manuals, notes) to solve problems independently.
• Communication: comfortable with video check-ins and frequent app updates.
• Availability: 365‑day operation; high need for Evening (3 PM - 11 PM), Weekend, and Holiday availability.
