• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and communicate current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Inform guests about Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate how to use Target App features, including Wallet, and how to enroll in Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering.
• Handle returns per policy and escalate to leadership when needed while following Target’s procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Adhere to safety, ethics, and compliance policies and report hazards as needed.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, and related duties in a compliant manner (including awareness of adult beverage laws where applicable).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Effective communication and a welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to educate guests about products and services and engage around them.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and with a team.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally (requires assistance as needed).
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance is required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
