Position Summary
Title: Assistant Manager
Department: Operations
Reports to: Club Manager

Responsibilities- Assist with oversight of club operations, ensuring an exceptional member experience and financial stability.
- Help with the interviewing and recruitment process, completing initial phone interviews for member service representatives and fitness trainers.
- Drive club metrics aligned with business performance.
- Lead by example, inspiring teammates to deliver continuous service improvement and operational excellence.
- Monitor inventory and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales numbers with the club manager to identify opportunities and adjust execution for better performance.
- Uphold company standards, maintaining a clean, friendly, and well‑maintained club.
- Ensure teammates consistently execute basic standards of punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness, and cleanliness.
- Assist in overseeing club audits to guarantee all areas are clean, neat, organized, and in "like new" condition.
- Facilitate career growth for front‑end employees through training, development, and performance assessment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Club Manager.

Qualifications- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills with a high degree of member care.
- Previous experience leading teams in a retail or fitness environment.
- Self‑starter, motivated, and enthusiastic about creating the best experience for members.
- Well organized, reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work without direct supervision in a team environment.
- Occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch as needed.
