Position Summary

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders.

It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re a part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired

• Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate with team members, and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas
• Operate baking equipment; follow recipes and makeup instructions; wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them
• Ensure commitment to operational excellence; maintain work area according to company policies; ensure quality and date control standards; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise properly packaged, labeled, and stored
• Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience; execute basics at the highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes and practices
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
• Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club; answer any questions they may have
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area
