Position Summary

Retail Store Associate plays a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, providing service to customers, supporting store operations, and occasionally assisting pharmacy personnel in a retail setting.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and demonstrating compassion.
• Offer a warm and friendly greeting, maintain eye contact, and help locate additional items when needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties – handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities as required.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs to support better health.

• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently.
• Perform overhead lifting as needed.
• Require close visual acuity for tasks such as reading, computer use, and visual inspection of small parts.

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Physical capabilities as described above.
• Visual acuity sufficient for the tasks described.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Anticipated weekly hours: 29 (part‑time).

• Monday: 5pm – 9pm
• Tuesday: 5pm – 9pm
• Wednesday: 5pm – 9am
• Thursday: 5pm – 9pm
• Friday: 5pm – 9pm
• Saturday: 9pm – 8pm
• Sunday: 9am – 8pm

$15.00 – $19.00 per hour.
