Job Title: Area Business Manager, Allergy ENT, Bethesda, MD

Sanofi focuses on developing specialty treatments for debilitating diseases. The Area Business Manager (ABM) engages Allergists and ENTs to present clinically focused selling messages to create and grow revenue in asthma, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), atopic dermatitis, and eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE) indications. The ABM demonstrates initiative, drives results, and meets business goals with integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities- Engage Allergy/Immunology/ENT customers within the assigned geography and deliver a clinically focused message to introduce, launch, grow brand share and revenue, and consistently meet product goals for the indicated conditions.
- Collaborate with field-based stakeholders—Regeneron sales counterparts, Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access teammates, Thought Leader Liaisons—to address customer needs, identify market dynamics, and develop strategies supporting brand objectives.
- Build strong relationships with immunology experts and Allergy/ENT specialists, biologic coordinators, office staff, and patient advocacy groups.
- Identify key opportunities and develop strategic business plans to grow territory business.
- Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
- Maximize budget allocated to the geographic territory to support execution of strategies and tactics.
- Participate and help lead initiatives to support sales success, including industry congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences.
- Own business opportunities in the territory, coordinating large group practices and other key targets to drive product results.
- Establish relationships with thought leaders to drive industry‑leading customer value.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
- Ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product‑related information.
- Travel to meetings, trainings, and programs as necessary; additional travel may be required within the territory.
- Consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments, operating with high integrity within compliance guidelines.
- Team‑player attitude and ability to collaborate with partners and internal colleagues.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 2 years selling sub‑cutaneous self‑injectable (or office‑administered IV) biologics.
- 2 years selling experience in asthma or other immunology disorders such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, or ulcerative colitis.
- 2 years selling experience calling on Allergists and/or ENTs.
- Co‑promotion experience.
- Advanced clinically based selling skills.
- Track record of success with product launches.
- Experience training office staff, nurses, and office managers.
- Passion and aptitude for science, strengthening knowledge of disease states, treatments, and healthcare trends.
- Highly organized with strong account‑management skills.
