Salary Range: $95,000.00 To $ Annually
Lakeland Engineering Equipment Company in Kansas is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you'll be a key player in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. You'll have the opportunity to work with innovative manufacturing and service companies, identifying their unique challenges and presenting customized automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build Strong Customer Relationships: Cultivate and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective clients, becoming their trusted advisor.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Exceed sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within key industries.
- Develop Winning Strategies: Leverage your technical expertise and understanding of our capabilities to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Lead the Sales Process: From initial prospecting and needs analysis to proposal development and contract negotiation, you'll manage the entire sales cycle.
- Collaborate with Experts: Partner with our talented engineering team and other internal resources to deliver exceptional customer solutions.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously learn about industry trends and competitive landscapes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Branch Operations: Oversee daily operations of the branch, including customer service, order processing, and delivery logistics.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5-7 years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives.
- Impeccable interpersonal communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of the industry and industry trends.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM Software.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
- Ability and willingness to have face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects at trade shows and client meetings.
