The Event Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Alley Indoor Entertainment in Salina, KS.
This role is responsible for generating and managing event sales for birthday parties, corporate events, private events, and group outings. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries, creating event proposals and packages, coordinating event details with internal teams, and maintaining accurate records in sales and booking systems. The Event Sales Manager will conduct outreach to potential clients, build relationships with local organizations, and follow up on leads to meet sales targets.
The role also involves overseeing event logistics on the day of events, ensuring smooth execution, high guest satisfaction, and adherence to safety and venue standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Event Planning and Event Management for organizing and coordinating private events and group functions.
- Candidates should possess strong Sales and Private Events skills to generate leads, close event bookings, and manage client relationships.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with guests, teams, and vendors.
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment centers, or venue-based event sales is beneficial.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Hutchinson, KS, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency with basic office software and booking or CRM tools is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or hospitality is a plus.
- Base salary range is between $35,000 -> $40,000 per year.
- Monthly commission plan. Paid out monthly.
- Commission range is between 3% -> 6% of qualified sales.
- No cap on commission. Sell more, earn more.
