** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and/or document arrivals and departures to help support authorized access throughout the location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

+ Observe activity related to deliveries, pickups, and/or after-hours access, and report unusual, unauthorized, or suspicious activity according to site-specific security-related procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
