Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic
This position involves performing routine checks and repairs, keeping inventory records, and identifying faults with aircraft components. A&P mechanics typically work in hangars, repair stations, and on airfields.
Job Details- Salary: $20 – $35 per hour

- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant license
- U.S. work authorization (required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Proficiency with computer‑based technical data programs and industry reference materials
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of airframe and power plant systems
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors under varying conditions, lift up to 70 lbs, and work at heights
- Own tools
- Experience with CRJ or ERJ aircraft and sheet‑metal work is a plus
- Strong commitment to customer service and safety; team‑player with a “can‑do” attitude
- Compliance with FAA drug and alcohol testing requirements and background investigations
- Perform scheduled, unscheduled, or special inspections and maintenance according to Manufacturers Maintenance Manuals and FAA regulations
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems; perform operational and functional checks; service oil, tires, fuel, hydraulic systems, nitrogen, and oxygen; inspect and repair pitot/static systems; provide battery servicing
- Perform maintenance, repair, removal, and installation of aircraft, engines, and various electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components (e.g., propellers, starters, generators, fuel pumps, hydraulic pumps, actuators, wheels, tires, brakes)
- Execute structural repairs to airframes, including sheet‑metal work, riveting, patching, and fiberglass/composite work
- Certify all work as required by FAA regulations, industry guidelines, and company procedures; enter information into computer tracking systems and complete required paperwork
- Assist and train other technicians as needed; participate in ongoing training opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Flexibility in overtime, including weekends and call‑outs
- 10‑hour shift or 8‑hour shift
- Monday to Friday and weekend availability
- Aircraft maintenance: 1 year (required)
- Airframe & Powerplant license required
