A Brief Overview
As a certified Safelite Repair Specialist I, you will utilize our industry‑leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs. You will champion the Safelite Spirit with a can‑do attitude and bring unexpected happiness to customers by completing jobs with the highest quality standard.
What You’ll Do- Learn repairs in classroom and hands‑on, focusing on the Safelite Way of Fitting under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
- Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication through the Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
- Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
- Clean customer vehicle during wait/idle time and perform housekeeping tasks.
- Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and chemicals throughout the workday.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Competitive weekly base pay starting at $14.75 per hour.

- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent (preferred).
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license and any other required licenses to operate a company vehicle.
- On‑the‑job training/completion of Safelite Safe Tech™ certification (required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Lifting up to 25 lbs. and assisting with windshields weighing 26–50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist the body.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Operate a motor vehicle in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Work outside in varied weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
- Handle chemicals (including flammable substances) safely.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs.
- Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Read, write, and interpret technical directions and the English language.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Maintain a professional appearance per uniform and PPE policies.
- Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure.
