Mental Health Specialist - Martin Youth Center

Central Kansas Mental Health Center has full‑time openings for a Mental Health Specialist in our Martin Youth Crisis Center. Positions are available on the 2nd shift (2‑10 p.m. and 3‑11 p.m.), which include a shift differential and occasional weekends. The role involves working with children who need extra support, helping them develop coping skills, and coaching them toward their goals. Specialists will provide individual and group support, stabilize crises safely, assess strengths and needs, collaborate with the child and treatment team, and respond to mobile crisis calls.
Requirements:
- High‑school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to provide transportation
- Reliable attendance
- Training provided; experience or education in social work preferred
