2nd Shifts;
Mon – Sun; hours vary
WAGE RANGE: $22.00- $34.00
PRIMARY
PURPOSE:
Coordinate receiving and shipping of all materials (packaging, raw and finished goods), inventory control and provide status to customers for shipping times and product availability.
- Prepare and verify paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments, including loader sheets, load charts, BOL/COS, placards, and special instructions; scan BOLs into Eclipse and enter data into NAV.
- Validate shipping and receiving transactions against documents and NAV; ensure accuracy of temperature, pallet, and order details.
- Maintain inventory data in spreadsheets and NAV; conduct physical counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate unloading/loading of trucks based on appointments; issue load tags and resolve loading discrepancies.
- Handle rejections, dumps, and weight validations; record transactions in NAV and notify supervisor if weights exceed 1%.
- Communicate with Customer Service, QA, and Production regarding order fill, product hold, and availability issues.
- Scan BOLs into Eclipse, perform weekly reconciliation, and file paperwork at shift end.
- Answer internal and external phone and email inquiries promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized dispatch office; manage office supplies inventory.
- Assist with scan gun issuance and other assigned duties.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and one (1) year of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer requirements, loading systems, and inventory systems is preferred.
- Literate in English; bilingual/biliterate in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic math skills to ensure proper inventory counts and customer order fulfillment.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions.
- Proficient in English; bilingual in English/Spanish is favored.
