Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Framework First builds homes inside our own factory, then crane delivers them onto our clients' properties, handling permits, foundation, finishes, and inspections along the way. We have been doing it for years, with 40-plus years of craftsmanship behind us, a 5.0 star reputation, and more demand than ever.
We are hiring a Permit Coordinator to own one of the highest leverage roles in the whole operation: getting every project approved. Across Monterey County we build in more than 15 jurisdictions, each with its own planners, rules, and quirks. Your job is to know all of them, keep every application moving, and never let a project sit waiting on a permit that could have been pushed.
This is a role for someone who is part organizer, part relationship builder, and part bulldog. You will work permit software and planning portals all day, but you will also pick up the phone and get a planner to call you back. When you do this well, you shave weeks off our timelines and our clients move into their homes sooner.
There is room to grow, too. As we scale, this role can take on more of the planning department, from site visits to occasional travel when a project calls for it.
Pay & growth$25 per hour to start (40 hours a week, about $52,000 a year), plus 401(k) and paid time off. As we scale into more jurisdictions and more units per month, this role and your pay grow with you.
