Special Education Teacher/Resource Specialist - Contract
Location: Salinas, CA
Qualifications- Graduate from a Teaching program.
- Current M/M or M/S Credential as a Special Education Teacher in CA.
- Experience in a school setting.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess students abilities and create teaching plans.
- Adapt learning materials to suit students needs.
- Track and reflect on students progress.
- Monitor students behavioral patterns and arrange interventions if necessary.
- Manage classroom crises and resolve conflicts.
- Collaborate with parents and school staff to track students progress.
- Collaborate with school counselors, occupational therapists, and psychologists to assist children s development and socialization.
