Salary: $59,464.00 - $ Annually. Initial placement up to 20 years of creditable experience may be accepted upon verification. Master’s Degree – $2,000 annual stipend. Doctorate Degree – $3,000 annual stipend.
Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Principal, Educational Administrator, or Senior Director, Alternative Education, instructs special education students individually and in small groups in accordance with MCOE policies and procedures; develops and implements IEP goals, assesses students, and coordinates programs to increase independence and functioning in society, socially, vocationally and academically.
RequirementsEducation and Experience:
Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university.
Valid California Education Specialist Instruction credential or its equivalent.
Licenses and
Certifications:
Possession of an appropriate valid California Driver’s License with evidence of insurability. First Aid CPR Certification within six (6) months of employment.
