Special Education Teacher - Salinas, CA

Required qualifications and experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific preferred)
• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field;
  Masters degree a plus
• Practical experience working with students in special education programs
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
• A compassionate, patient, and student-focused approach

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering individualized instructional plans tailored to students with diverse learning needs
• Creating inclusive, positive classroom environments that foster academic and social growth
• Collaborating with general education teachers, staff, and parents to support students IEP goals
• Monitoring student progress, adapt teaching strategies, and maintain accurate records
• Participating in IEP meetings, professional development, and faculty initiatives
• Providing ongoing encouragement, advocacy, and support for student success
