Bilingual Para educator
Under the general direction of the Principal, the Bilingual Para educator performs a variety of duties assisting teachers in the overall support of instructional activities for students who are enrolled in special education moderate/severe programs and/or mainstream classrooms.
Requirements / QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- Education as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015:
High school diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years of higher education study (48 semester units) OR possession of an Associate's or higher degree OR met a rigorous standard of quality and able to demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge or and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing and mathematics - Prior job-related experiences, paid or voluntary, with school-age children or children/individuals with disabilities

Desirable
Qualifications:
- Coursework in education, psychology, child development, classroom behavior management and/or Early Childhood Education
