Certificated Teachers Aide

The California Certificated Teacher’s Aide at Laura’s Barn Preschool & Child Care Center plays a vital role in supporting the Lead Teacher in delivering high-quality early childhood education while ensuring compliance with Title 5 Child Care Licensing Regulations
. This individual will assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering an engaging, safe, and nurturing learning environment, and working collaboratively with staff, families, and administrators to support children’s growth and development.

Wage

$23 - $25 per hour

Benefits available after completion of 90 day probation. Medical/Dental/Vision/401K & Paid Federal Holidays/Sick Pay 48 hour accumulated annually.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Certificated Teacher’s Aide to join our Title 5 program team
, supporting lead teachers in creating an engaging, safe, and supportive learning space for children.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

California Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject or Early Childhood Specialization preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development (CD), or a related field Minimum 12 ECE units (required for compliance with Title 22 regulations
) Experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing Title 5-compliant lesson plans and activities.
• Work with children in small groups and one-on-one to support individualized learning needs.
• Encourage positive social-emotional development and guide children through problem-solving.
  Child Supervision & Safety
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment aligned with California Title 22 & Title 5 regulations
  .
• Supervise children during play, meals, and rest time
  .
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
  , including sanitation and hygiene routines.
  Communication & Collaboration
• Foster strong relationships with families
  , providing updates on child progress.
• Work closely with the teaching team and administrators to maintain program quality.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions
  . Compliance & Documentation
• Assist in tracking attendance, assessments, and observations required for the Title 5 program.
• Ensure all licensing and funding requirements are met.
• Support in preparing learning materials and classroom setup
