Quality Inspector - Aircraft Production

Apera is hiring on behalf of a well-known, exciting aerospace organization who are looking to hire several contractors:

• 3+ years of experience
• Aircraft quality inspection experience IS required

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections
• Inspect machined parts, composite structures, electrical assemblies, and aircraft assemblies
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, borescopes, and other precision tools
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Apply GD&T to verify conformity
• Generate First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102)
• Create and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, QMS, and FAA standards
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts

• Aerospace or aviation quality inspection experience
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
• Experience in AS9100 environments
• FAI and NCR experience required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving production environment

Experience with CMM, laser trackers, or 3D metrology equipment is a plus.
