Job DetailsHiring immediately. $45/hr break into the future of aviation with a fast‑track career opportunity. All expenses paid (Sonesta Hotel, transportation, lunch).
Responsibilities- Build and maintain a fly‑by‑wire aircraft according to aviation standards using shop and calibrated tooling including torque wrenches, crimping and stripping tools.
- Perform developmental, experimental and production aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, installation, and testing tasks; give direction to others as needed.
- Marshal, charge, preflight, and maintain aircraft ensuring they are ready for daily flight test operations by minimizing downtime and maximizing availability.
- Help create and carry out flight test maintenance policies and procedures including 5S, FOD, work orders, tool control, etc.
- Follow maintenance safety policies and procedures for ground operations as part of Archers Safety Management System.
- Provide plans and status updates to the Flight Test Maintenance Manager on assigned aircraft and projects.
- Provide input on design and fabrication of novel air vehicles from a perspective of hands‑on repairability and maintainability.
- Maintain aircraft maintenance records required by FAA regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and company policy.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A&P license required.
- 2+ years of experience as an A&P Mechanic.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems and how they operate.
- Proficiency with a variety of tools and equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
