Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is a leading manufacturer of thermal anemometer gas flow meters, serving industrial, commercial, and government markets worldwide. The company is known for engineering excellence, precision instrumentation, and innovation.

We are seeking a mid-level electronic engineer to support engineering activities within the company. This position would assist the engineering department in product development and design of microprocessor-based flow meters, automated test equipment, and production support systems. Candidate must have 3+ years' work experience, BSEE degree. Experience with embedded firmware development using C language, PCB layout, and Mixed signal design is required.

• Support new Designs through development into production.
• Drives system integration, assembly procedures, and test procedures
• Document designs with engineering drawings and written descriptions
• Trouble-shoot complex systems from a hardware and software perspective
• Design, build, and test prototypes expediently and efficiently
• Perform board bring-up, and documentation
• Design, review and implements circuit boards for industrial environments.

• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and understanding of best practices
• Experience in electronic design, including component selection, schematic design, and familiarity with schematic capture and layout tools.
• Experience in embedded design of mix signal circuits and be familiar with common industry protocols (I2C, SPI, TCP/IP, UART)
• Must be familiar with Test equipment:
  Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Bench power supplies, Logic analyzers, Function generators and Spectrum analyzers.

• Surface Mount soldering of small components.
• Programming C and Python.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance testing and requirements.
