Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Contract

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract assignment in a skilled nursing setting. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care aimed at improving functional independence for both short-term and long-term residents.

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions to support patient mobility, daily living skills, and independence
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Complete timely and accurate documentation per facility requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
  • Mentorship available for candidates with 0–1 year of experience
• Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills
• Flexible, team-oriented, and collaborative mindset
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday preferred)
• BLS/BCLS certification required
