Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Contract

Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and adaptable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract assignment in a skilled nursing setting. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care aimed at improving functional independence for both short-term and long-term residents.
Key Responsibilities- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support patient mobility, daily living skills, and independence
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Complete timely and accurate documentation per facility requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
- Mentorship available for candidates with 0–1 year of experience
- Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills
- Flexible, team-oriented, and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday preferred)
- BLS/BCLS certification required
