Location: Salinas, CA

Start Date: 03-23-2026

End Date: 06-22-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday; shift times vary by facility (confirm exact start/end with hiring manager)

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat skilled nursing facility patients with compassion and clinical accuracy
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create cohesive, patient-centered care plans
  • Complete timely, thorough documentation in Net Health according to facility standards
  • Manage caseloads efficiently while prioritizing patient safety and functional outcomes
  • Float to a nearby sister facility as needed to maintain continuity of care
Qualifications
  • Active California Occupational Therapy license or application in process under the 60-day rule
  • SNF experience preferred, though new graduates are welcome and mentorship is available
  • Strong documentation skills and comfort using Net Health or similar EMR systems
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Flexible, collaborative mindset with the ability to float between nearby sites
Knowledge & Skills
  • Occupational therapy evaluation and treatment in a skilled nursing setting
  • Thorough, standards-based documentation practices
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
  • Caseload and time-management strategies
  • Familiarity with Net Health or equivalent clinical software
