Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to provide school-based physical therapy services for students ranging from preschool to high school. The PT will conduct student evaluations, deliver individualized therapy sessions, collaborate with educational teams, and document all services according to each student’s plan of care and physician’s orders when applicable. This is a full-time, onsite school assignment with a consistent weekly schedule at one primary school site.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive evaluations to determine student physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and physician orders.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to enhance students’ mobility, strength, functional abilities, and participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student goals.
- Document all therapy encounters, progress notes, and recommendations in accordance with district, state, and professional standards.
- Maintain therapy equipment and ensure safe practices during all sessions.
- Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the school or supervising staff.

One school site
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- One (1) year of professional PT experience preferred
- Complies with all professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)
- Current health certificate (per state/contract requirements)
- Meets all federal, state, and local regulations
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Travel Physical Therapist
- Pay Rate: $38/hour
- Meals: $644/week
- Housing: $1,337/week
- Total Weekly Package: $3,501
- Local Physical Therapist
- Pay Rate: $75/hour
- Total Weekly Amount: $3,000
