Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligible to obtain)
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in assessment, goal development, and intervention planning
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adjust strategies to meet individual needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
  • Provide direct therapy sessions to students in group and one-on-one settings
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to support student achievement and well-being
  • Offer consultative support to teachers to create accessible classroom environments
