Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our collaborative rehabilitation team in Salinas, California. Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADL performance, functional mobility, upper extremity function, cognition, safety awareness, and overall independence.
  • Accurately document treatments using electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on adaptive equipment, home safety, and functional strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, and facility documentation standards.
  • Participate in care conferences and team meetings as appropriate.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current California COTA license (or eligibility).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred; motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for patient-centered care.
