Job Summary:

Provides essential support to licensed physical therapists, assisting in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Ensures smooth operational flow within the therapy department, contributing to optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering rehabilitative care to patients.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
• Monitor patient progress and report on responses to therapy interventions.
• Document patient information and treatment notes accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises and activities for continued progress at home.
• Support the maintenance and sterilization of therapy equipment.

Qualifications:

• Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience in a healthcare or therapy setting preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic procedures, modalities, and documentation standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams.
