Project Manager Position SummaryThe Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful delivery of complex construction projects, particularly within healthcare environments. Serving as the central leader for the project team, the PM drives planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with company values.
This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts across all phases of construction.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead tactical project execution, including defining project approach, milestones, and deliverables.
- Direct, motivate, and coordinate internal teams and trade partners to achieve project goals related to schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
- Set the tone for the project through proactive planning, risk mitigation, and team alignment.
- Manage administrative and contractual obligations, including owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost controls, change management processes, manpower planning, and financial forecasting.
- Lead job-specific buyout strategies in coordination with project leadership and estimating teams.
- Oversee master scheduling in collaboration with the project superintendent and trade partners.
- Manage project risk and ensure adherence to contractual requirements, including notice provisions.
- Study and understand the prime contract to protect company rights and reduce exposure.
- Promote job site safety and enforce safe work practices; complete all required company safety training.
- Lead the development and implementation of project-specific quality control, safety, and environmental programs with support from internal departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and provide timely communication on project issues and resolutions.
- Direct, supervise, mentor, and coach Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Team Coordinators, and Project Accountants.
- Support business development efforts by building and maintaining strategic client and partner relationships.
- Participate in project pursuits, including proposal strategy, estimating support, presentations, interviews, and preconstruction services.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and community engagements as appropriate.

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience across all phases of construction, with healthcare experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with a systematic approach to achieving results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse personalities and teams.
- Experience or familiarity with healthcare compliance, sustainability, and environmental programs is a plus.
- Working knowledge of construction and project management software such as Procore, Plan Grid, Bluebeam, Revit, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Primavera, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
