Corporate Controller

Overview

Salary: $145,000–$180,000 base + discretionary bonus

Location: Salinas Area, CA (5 days in office; relocation assistance available)

• Lead all accounting functions: financial statements, general ledger, payroll, AP/AR, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and special analyses
• Manage cash flow, funding balances, and timely payments
• Oversee quarterly and annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial planning
• Prepare accurate and insightful reporting for management and audits
• Advise executives on financial strategy, capital investments, and operational decisions
• Mentor and grow a team of 4–5 accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA highly desired
• Expert in GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting
• Experienced with ERP systems and MS Office
• Thrives in a hands-on role with executive visibility and influence
• Previous experience in agriculture is a plus, but your leadership and accounting expertise are what matter most
