Sanitation Technician

Non-Exempt position, 3rd Shift, located in Springfield, OH. Salary: $19.45 per hour.

We are hiring 3rd shift Sanitation Techs to support operations. Responsibilities include sanitizing assigned production areas following the Sani Tech SOP, safely using chemicals, disassembling and reassembling equipment, and working independently with limited supervision.

• Work with chemicals safely.
• Repeatedly climb, push, pull, and perform extensive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment, requiring extensive lifting.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all policies, practices, and SOPs related to SQF (Safe Quality Food).
• Maintain integrity and operation of food safety system during organizational or personnel changes.

• Ability to read and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Previous sanitation experience is preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required.
• Ability to work with and around chemicals.

• Work in cold temperatures (32-35°F).
• Follow PPE protocol: hairnet, hardhat, gloves, smock/safety vest.
• No jewelry (earrings, necklaces, rings, watches) on production floors.
• Stand, walk, climb, and work in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver around equipment in a cold environment.

• 5-day continuous schedule, 8-hour shift (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Every Saturday night off.

3rd Shift: $19.45 per hour. Shift may run over depending on pre‑op inspection.

High School Diploma required.
