Registered Nurse (RN) – part time

Location:

Salinas Valley Post Acute – Salinas, CA  

Shift: PM Shift (Evening) weekends  Pay: $50 per hour Salinas Valley Post Acute is a dedicated skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and skilled Registered Nurses to join our team and support our mission of delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Position Summary As a part time RN, you will play a key role in providing direct nursing care, supporting residents’ overall well‑being, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence. This NOC shift role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a supportive team environment and are passionate about post‑acute and long‑term care.

Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and regulatory standards
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
* Assess, monitor, and document residents’ conditions and progress
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
* Supervise and support LVNs and CNAs as needed
* Ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff Qualifications
* Current California RN license in good standing
* Prior experience in post‑acute, long‑term care, or skilled nursing preferred (not required)
* Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
* Ability to work the NOC shift and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
