Diagnostic Imaging Nurse - Per Diem

Overview

Registered Nurse in the Radiology Department works under the supervision of the Director. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising individualized patient care in a patient care area according to departmental policies, procedures, and the Nurse Practice Act. The RN individualizes care based on age‑appropriate and developmental needs, directs co‑workers in the implementation of care plans, collaborates with physicians, families, and other health‑care team members, and utilizes positive communication skills.

The RN may be required to work on other nursing units per staffing distribution.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards.
• Successfully completed SVMH Pharmacology test.

Hourly rate: $79.73 - $96.90.
